Uninspired!

I am shocked how the Yankees have approached this season. I was among those who thought and still thinks turning the page on the Torre era was the right thing to do, but i tought this years product would have a little more fire. Injuries aside this team is flawed, full of older players on the downside. It is too soon to say that Girardi was the wrong move but this team better start to play with some fire or shakeups will be on the way, Hank will want to show his bark comes with bite at some point..

Assembled Press. Didn't!

The assembled media at the "press" conference asked nothing of substance.. Mike and the Dog will pick up the pieces but what a disgrace, how do they not ask about the apparent change in plans that this move represents.. The fans deserve better

The Knicks Blow another one!

The Knicks Blow another one! What a disgrace first Walsh and now this guy, they have no clue and if anyone thought there was a plan forget it

SCOTT/RANDOLPH

It is hard not to notice the comparison between these two coaches.
Both have had success and the latter is about to follow the former out
of town because of personality clashes with star players (singular in
Scott's case) Scapegoating will always be aprt of sport and we all
participate from time to time but in 5 years Willy be leading the
Pirates (where he started) back to the promiselland just as Byron is
doing with the New Orleans..

Scarlet Knight Nation to Doggy: WELCOME!

With his passionate defense of Rutger's decision not to capitulate to Notre Dame in recent negotiations Christopher "Mad Dog" Russo has joined the Scarlet Knight Nation. He joins the likes of Chris "Continent" Carlin and NBC's Bruce Beck as esteemed members of this growing "Nation".. While Mike remains a holdout Chris's membership marks a watershed moment in Knights history, for the better part of 20 years he had railed against the Rutgers football program (rightfully so for many of those years), and urged on many occasions to downgrade to a 1 AA schedule. By swatting away the storied "Fighting Irish" Rutgers has taken another giant step in establishing itself as a premier Football program.

On behalf of Bruce and "Continent" and the millions of lesser known members of the Scarlet Knight Nation, welcome Christopher Russo!

JOBA IN PEN: BULL!

I believe Joba should have been a starter from the beginning of the
season. This was before Kennedy and Hughes imploded.. For how many
years have we heard we need a "lock down" starter, here is our chance
for a home grown phenom and we let him sit in the bullpen waiting for
a meaningful 8th inning. As we have have seen recently at the current
pace very few opportunities will present for JOBA. I don't care how
dominant he has been or will be in the Pen we need to see what he can
do as a starter. Hughes and Kennedy will improve but now is a great
opportunity to see what Joba can do as a starter!

Congressiona Hearings

As the dust settles on Clemens v McNamee one thing is clear, I rather have the dopes in Congress conducting baseball hearings than messing up anything of real importance.. The prevailing wisdom has been the opposite, Why is congress wasting time and money on policing baseball is the call from sports and political talking heads. It was apparent that the best and the brightest are not in congress so we should be glad that for 4.5 hours they were distracted and could not do any damage to the economy or foreign policy....

ELI!

CHARACTER!

That drive was character... We are here to win and make history..
Cover this kick!

Did What We Needed To Do

We showed we more than belonged now it is time to go out and win the game.. We should have more points on the board (even the hail Mary looked like Smith could've caught).. Pats are frustrated they have let us hang around, we are dangerous, gameplan does not change go back to Jacobs and hammer them the 3 yard carries will now be 5 and 7 yard carries.. They get the ball 3 and out, no more than a field gaol, keep hitting Brady!! In Tuck we trust!

SLUGFEST!

Bring on Bradshaw and reestablish the run! We are in great position
to take the lead going to the half!

COMPOSURE

Eli needs to lead and get everyone calmed down... We are in good
shape! Back to the run...

ONE DOWN 3 TO GO!

We won the first quarter.. If Pierce just turns around he may pick
the ball... We gave field position which made it easy but we are
getting some pressure...

DOESN'T LOOK COMFORTABLE

HOLD TO 3

NO BIG PLAY

too late... got to make them work a little.. GREAT opening drive
but we need TDs... THEY ARE GOING FOR 6 ON FIRST PLAY!

Move the CHains

Shorten the game keep with the run game it will be there.. Two huge third down conversions by Eli,, Steve Smith is a key few have spoken about during the buildup..

Fight Feel

Has the feel of a boxing match if we hang tough and take some shots and hang around we will be ok!!!

Coin Toss!

Finally! Let's get going... First Win!! Ram ball down there throat!!!

Belichick Burnout!

Enough talk they are men and they are not perfect and will not be perfect! Belichick while great is not going to make one pass run or tackle so enough he is not a deity. 15 minutes to immortality, GIANTS WIN!!

GIANTS WIN! DECISIVELY

The Giants will shock the world and beat the New England Patriots by 10 points on Sunday (if the margin is tighter the PATS will have scored late). By 11 PM Sunday night (Godwilling not later) the Giants will be celebrating in Phoenix. While the Patriots are lauded for being robots during Superbowl week the Giants are derided for being to relaxed and dare I say confident. Coughlin can't win, on the one hand he is being praised for relaxing and allowing men to be men and now in the the most important week of the season they want the old Tom back to declare Martial Law you can't have it both ways.

The Giants will win on talent. They have a more talented defensive team, younger and athletic and offensively they can more than hold there own except for the quarterback position. Now while Belichick is God I like my chances with Tom (either version)... While Mike and the Mad Dog and others minimize the Giants chances I feel the Giants will play like Giants. They will come out aggressive and taking chances on both sides of the ball. Playing with "House money" is even more empowering when you have talent.

The Patriots are not the only storied franchise playing Sunday. The Giants are no strangers to greatness and they will become reacquainted on Sunday evening!
