When did the NBA jump the shark? For someone like me in my late thirties I find todays NBA unwatchable. I think it was the rap and hip hop influence that arrived after the Jordan era. The incredible amount of tatoos in all sports is a turnoff but basketball of course they are more noticeable. Whatever the reason the NBA is a shell of what it was and it makes the 6 weeks between superbowl and spring training feel much longer.
