Big third down we need points another huge drop by Smith supposedly possession receiver. We have at least 3 in the bank don't blow it..

Big defensive stop this could be a turning point as we now have field position.. Stick with run game.. The Giants seem to have withstood the initial surge based on emotion, now the game is settling down, Eli needs to lead a drive..

7-0 FIRST QUARTER. The defense is going to have to put the team on their back and make some plays.. At least Eli didn't fumble on third down... Every pass is off the 2nd down throw to smith a good quarter back completes that.. He needs to step up..

Not enough Emotion

Giants have not matched the emotion and intensity to start the game.. This game has an all too familiar feel to it, they need a stop and put some points up.. 4:38 to go first quarter they have established nothing on either side of the ball..

Eli Must Deliver!

Eli needs to do more than not make mistakes, he needs to assert himself and make big plays. 18-24 220 yds 2 toucdowns no turnovers would be a realistic benchmark. He needs to play well and the Giants need to win for him to begin to win back Giants fans.. Right now the confidence of the Giant fan is so low many are willing to accept the minimum from Eli, we deserve and should expect more!

Fumbles costs us a chance for points. Any other QB gets the benefit of the doubt for him just a bonhead play, as bad as the drop by Steve Smith.

Dropped Snap

I want to hear the Eli defenders explain away the dropped snap, bailed out by the roughing the kicker. Eli has a short field get the tying score! Who is going to blame Gilbride for dropped snap.. SHould we start the 2 minute offense, I cannot look at Eli he instills no confidence in fans nonetheless his teammates.

The D needs a to make a play and score. They are the worst Mitchell is awful how does he miss the tackle on the last play of 1st quarter. Disgraceful performance... This will seal the fate of Coughlin (unfortunately)

4 Quarters for Eli

Eli needs to get off well and sustain it for 4 quarters! The Giants need a decisive win (34-14) to get everyone feeling good about them heading into the playoffs. If he thinks the criticism has been bad wait until he wakes up tomorrow morning if this team loses... He will get another coach (though I beleive Coughlin has done extraordinary given Eli's awful play) and the next coach will have the opportunity to replace Eli.. Eli's time is running out, he has one more year of being unchallenged, time for him to be counted, for 4 quarters!

Kim is Correct Competition is Key!

Eli should have a viable backup quarterback. There needs to be a sense of urgency in his play and maybe this is away to wake him up! He is going to be a 5th year player and you can probably count on one hand the number of QB's who blossom beyond the point he is at now. And by blossom I mean to the level of at least Marc Bulger (my expectations have really dropped)

Competition brings about the best and the absense results in someone like Evan Roberts getting the midday gig (extreme example).. Great show and what are the odds that Carlin would not only marry this year but also have chemistry in the workplace with another female? Who would've thunk it! Merry Xmas!!
