4 Quarters for Eli

Eli needs to get off well and sustain it for 4 quarters! The Giants need a decisive win (34-14) to get everyone feeling good about them heading into the playoffs. If he thinks the criticism has been bad wait until he wakes up tomorrow morning if this team loses... He will get another coach (though I beleive Coughlin has done extraordinary given Eli's awful play) and the next coach will have the opportunity to replace Eli.. Eli's time is running out, he has one more year of being unchallenged, time for him to be counted, for 4 quarters!

Kim is Correct Competition is Key!

Eli should have a viable backup quarterback. There needs to be a sense of urgency in his play and maybe this is away to wake him up! He is going to be a 5th year player and you can probably count on one hand the number of QB's who blossom beyond the point he is at now. And by blossom I mean to the level of at least Marc Bulger (my expectations have really dropped)

Competition brings about the best and the absense results in someone like Evan Roberts getting the midday gig (extreme example).. Great show and what are the odds that Carlin would not only marry this year but also have chemistry in the workplace with another female? Who would've thunk it! Merry Xmas!!

I can hear the FAN abuzz with the the Coughlin haters calling for his head. At some point this group of players needs to stand up and be counted. Eli is being outplayed by a guy who has not started and hardly played in 10 years., Amani dropping balls Brandon can't catch a cold and Plaxico may as well be on IR. And as usual the defense is shaky.. It is amazing that Coughlin has been able to get this much out of this group of underacheivers the core of which he inherited.
